Whether for lunch or dinner, make the most of the 'Table d'Hôtes' available at Le Couvent - delicious, traditional cuisine cooked up by our resident chef Michel Aninat. Local ingredients and recipes combine to offer you dishes such as Fricassee of Scallops; Fish cooked in Cognac; Chicken with a Cream and Morilles Mushroom Sauce; Fig-stuffed Duckling; and Guinea-fowl cooked with Wild 'Cèpes' Mushrooms. For desert, our local Hérépian pâtissier serves up his delicious fruit pies.

From our carefully-sourced wine list, enjoy wines from nearby 'Domaine de la Colombette', 'Château de Raissac' or the famous Faugères wine region. Our selection is the perfect way to explore the incredible variety of wines available in this region of France.

'Table d'Hôtes' at Le Couvent offers set menus, priced from €20 per head. Simply make a reservation at our reception.

Close to our kitchen, below the vaulted, limestone ceilings of the 'cave', you'll find Le Couvent's bar. It's a great place to escape the summer heat and enjoy an aperitif with friends. The wine list, compiled by local expert Philippe Catus, is a wonderful introduction to the richness of the wine available in the region.

Every evening, the bar comes to life with great music. Guests come here to relax, or mingle with other Couvent visitors and local residents.

Our 'Salon' offers guests a warm and inviting space in which to relax during the day or in the evenings - by our magnificent period fireplace. Sit back in comfortable armchairs and listen to music, read, or just leaf through some of the interesting coffee-table books in our library. Or simply relax while planning your next day's activities.
